Welcome to Chillin’ Around the Keys!
This book is an intermediate level group of pieces in every major key, with a slight nod to the relative minor. There is a lot of technique involved in each piece, but they are mainly just simply to be enjoyed. I have played them myself for my own enjoyment, as well as on many background music gigs.
No rushing tempos ever! Chill! Tempos on average are close to @70ish bpm, but just play where you are comfortable.
There are no pedal markings, when you add pedal, just change the pedal when the harmony changes ( when the chord symbol changes ).
Feel free to add extra repeats, use the chord symbols to improvise, even elaborate harmonies, or simply play exactly what’s written.
